Overview

MetaPOS Dashboard serves as the web-based analytics and control panel for MetaPOS retail operations. It allows business owners and managers to view daily reports, sales summaries, inventory analytics, and manage staff logins. The dashboard complements the point-of-sale mobile app and centralizes operations requiring secure access.

Its role is to provide real-time sales summaries, stock analysis, system configuration, and performance metrics. Admins can fine-tune promotions, view staff shifts, and use analytics to make informed decisions based on live data from POS devices.

Retailers needed to sell quickly at the counter, keep trading when the connection drops, and still see sales and stock across locations.

What we built

Native Android apps for phones and POS terminals with barcode scanning and offline sales, synced to a cloud backend and a web dashboard for owners and managers.

MetaPOS – Point of Sale System

MetaPOS runs on Android tablets and POS devices using native Java and Kotlin. The app handles inventory, customer checkouts, printing, and staff management. It syncs in real-time with a cloud backend (CakePHP and .NET APIs) and is hosted across Google Cloud and AWS for performance and reliability.

Sales transactions sync automatically, even from remote POS locations. Offline-first support ensures sales are stored locally when network is unavailable. Admin users can access shift reports and update product catalogs remotely.
